CLOMIPHENE BRITISH DRAGON

Indication

Clomiphene by British Dragon Pharmaceuticals can be used to increase chances of becoming pregnant (in women) and to treat men with low testosterone levels. It is also employed in Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) to refuel optimal testosterone production among other physiological benefits during the recovery of endogenous hormonal levels after steroid use.

Contra-indications

• Pregnancy: Not recommended in pregnancy.
• Liver: Liver Disease – contraindicated
• Thyroid/Adrenal: Address these; before using
• Ovarian Cysts: Skip if cysts are not from PCOS.
• Allergies: You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to Clomiphene.

Administration

Medical Action

This is because clomiphene is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM) which blocks estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, and can with hCG stimulate release of gonadotropins (LH/FSH), inducing ovulation or boosting testosterone production. It is also used to help bring back hormonal function after a steroid cycle in PCT.

Precautions

Side Effects

Major: Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), Blurred vision, Mood swings and increased risk of multiple pregnancies.

Overdosage

Symptoms include nausea, emesis, flushing of the face and neck area (hot flashes), visual blurring; ovarian enlargement [23]==. Prompt medical attention and treatment is necessary, as the approach will be limited to addressing symptoms.
